Made in Santa Cruz by local artist Sonya Magill, a storied character… We have recently met a gal that knows all about these pots and was with her when she was making them. More to come on this and isn’t this a fun local provenance???
Sonya Magill was a long time local artist/potter, was a driver for Janis Joplin; she worked in tandem with Diane, founder of the Bonny Doon Farm, to create pots and other whimsical items. Very talented and prolific, she had a long run with Diane. Now both are gone, but not their work, for sale here, rare and hard to find!
