Connoisseur Alert: One-Source California Honeys are a rarity, indeed. Enjoy in attractive 8-oz. Queenline, darling 3-oz. Skep Jars and sweet 4 oz. Hexagonal (Lavender/Tan Oak only) – all delectable! Honeys are delicious on your cheese tray – add figs or other fruits or a special cheese to delight the palate. Drizzle on a roast or on veggies on the grill, and you are transported to Tuscany. Mmmmm.

• Big Sur Wild – local wildflower honey
• Lavender & Tanoak Honey (4 oz) – Private Reserve, a luscious, rare, dark honey from the Bonny Doon Farm – bottled and shared by friend Jim Nelson of beloved Camp Joy in Boulder Creek. The bees collected lavender nectar and tanoak nectar (Notholithocarpus densiflorus). Less sweet and quite dark with a deep, slightly bitter caramel flavor. Rich in antioxidants and minerals and available only in limited quantity. (Closest comparison is New Zealand Manuka honey …) Drizzle over cheeses or grilled chicken for a gourmet treat. Enjoy!
