• Lavender & Tanoak Honey (4 oz) – Private Reserve, LIMITED A lucious, rare, dark honey from the Bonny Doon Farm bottled and shared by friend Jim Nelson of beloved Camp Joy in Boulder Creek. The bees collected lavender nectar and tanoak nectar (Notholithocarpus densiflorus). Less sweet and quite dark with a deep, slightly bitter caramel flavor. Rich in antioxidants and minerals and available only in limited quantity. (Closest comparison is New Zealand Manuka honey …) Drizzle over cheeses or grilled chicken for a gourmet treat.
